Savor the Flavors of Roatán — Foodie & Culture Tour
Come hungry. Leave knowing a little more about the real Roatán.
Food is one of the best ways to experience an island, and this private foodie and culture tour takes you beyond the typical tourist stops to discover the flavors, people, traditions, and stories that make Roatán home.
With Ronal as your local host, you'll eat your way across the island, sampling authentic Honduran and Caribbean dishes at local restaurants, neighborhood favorites, roadside stops, and hidden gems you might never discover on your own.
Try island favorites such as baleadas, pastelitos, fried plantains, fresh seafood, traditional chicken, rice and beans, homemade specialties, tropical treats, and more. What you taste will vary depending on the day, what's fresh, and where the island takes us.
But this experience is about much more than food.
Along the way, Ronal will introduce you to the culture and everyday life of Roatán—the communities, history, traditions, and people behind the food. You'll visit local places, meet islanders, hear stories, and experience a side of Roatán that many visitors never get to see.
Daytime Foodie & Culture Tour
During the day, we'll explore a mix of local eateries and cultural stops, with opportunities to experience places such as the Roatán Chocolate Factory, Rum Factory, local bakery, markets, and neighborhood food spots. Expect at least five food stops and plenty of opportunities to taste, explore, and discover.
Roatán After Dark
When the sun goes down, the island's food scene changes—and so does our tour.
Our nighttime experience takes you into Roatán's street-food culture, where we'll visit local vendors serving the foods islanders actually stop for in the evening. We'll mix those casual street-food discoveries with a visit to a favorite nighttime restaurant and experience the island when the grills are hot, the music is playing, and the local food scene comes alive.
The nighttime tour does not visit the Chocolate Factory, Rum Factory, or bakery. Instead, we've designed it around the places and flavors that are best experienced after dark.
Private. Personal. Never Rushed.
This isn't a big-group tasting tour with tiny samples and a rigid schedule. Your experience is private for your party, giving us the freedom to slow down, follow your interests, and make the day—or night—feel like your own.
Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and let Ronal show you the Roatán he knows.
Taste the food. Meet the people. Discover the culture. Savor the island.

What to Bring
Roatán is wonderfully casual, so there’s no need to overthink what to wear or carry for your day on the island.
Dress for comfort and the Caribbean weather. A swimsuit with a cover-up, shorts and a T-shirt, sundress, sandals, or flip-flops will fit in almost anywhere—from the beach and island adventures to lunch at some of Roatán’s nicest restaurants.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and anything personal you know you’ll need for the day. If swimming is part of your plans, bring your swimsuit and a towel if you’d like one.
Most importantly, travel light and come comfortable. You’ll be exploring a relaxed Caribbean island, and there’s no need to carry a big bag or bring a change of clothes for every activity.
Come as you are. We’ll take care of the rest.
Any food and drinks outside of samples at stops, and in vehicle beverage cooler. Don't worry - you won't need it! We have you covered.
